Official LBKI Club Badge: Wear Your Identity

The LBKI Club Badge is more than just a patch; it is a symbol of your membership within a dedicated community of martial artists. This high-definition embroidered badge is the official requirement for all LBKI practitioners, ensuring a unified and professional appearance across the dojo.

Whether you are replacing an old badge or adding one to a new training Gi, this patch is designed to withstand the rigours of daily training while maintaining its crisp, vibrant detail.

Feature/Benefit Breakdown

  • High-Definition Embroidery: Crafted with premium, fade-resistant threads.
    • Benefit: The badge retains its professional look and sharp detail wash after wash.
  • Official Club Design: Features the sanctioned LBKI logo and colours.
    • Benefit: Ensures you meet the official uniform standards for club gradings, seminars, and competitions.
  • Durable Twill Backing: A sturdy foundation designed for permanent attachment.
    • Benefit: Provides the necessary structure to prevent the badge from fraying or losing its shape over time.
  • Universal Fit: Sized to fit perfectly on both Junior and Senior uniforms.

Application & Placement Guide

To maintain the professional standards of LBKI and ensure the longevity of your uniform, please follow these guidelines:

  • Placement: Traditionally, the badge should be applied to the left chest area of the Karate Gi jacket (over the heart).
  • Attachment Method: This is a sew-on badge. For professional safety and maximum durability, we recommend a tight whip-stitch or running stitch around the entire perimeter.

Note: While iron-on adhesives exist, sewing is the only recommended method for martial arts uniforms to ensure the badge does not peel off during grappling or high-intensity movement.

Care & Maintenance

  • Washing: To protect the embroidery threads, always wash your Gi inside out in cold water.
  • Avoid: Do not use bleach, as it will discolour the embroidery.
  • Drying: Line dry only. Excessive heat from a tumble dryer can cause the badge to shrink at a different rate than the Gi fabric, leading to puckering.
